Our History

Founded in April 2009, Green Ray Corporation manufactures and markets a wide range of lighting devices that use light emitting diodes (“LEDs”) as the light source.  LEDs are semiconductor devices that emit light when electric currents are passed through them.  LED technology has improved substantially over the past several years and now presents tremendous advantages over traditional lighting.

World headquartered in the beautiful wine country of California our offices in Santa Rosa serve as the hub for a multinational corporation with manufacturing facilities in China, Uruguay and the United States. We have strategically located ourselves to take advantage of free trade regions including NAFTA and MERCOSUR, consistent with our philosophy of building a local community based corporation.

Having spent 10 years searching for the right green product Green Ray’s founders in 2007 began designing the perfect LED lamp. In April of 2009, the corporation was founded and the manufacturing plant opened. The first version of our LED T8 was released in September. After trialing our lamps in the United States and internationally we now offer a full range of LED lighting solutions directly from our own manufacturing facilities. This vertical integration allows us to customize our solutions to meet our customers’ needs, making our name synonymous with quality and innovation.
